Chablis premier cru 2021, domaine Jean-Paul and Benoît Droin

For this new "favorite" section, the term "wine for friends" came about, but what exactly is it? We often think of "a simple wine," but it's primarily a wine we love, that we want to share, that bottle that catches our eye in the cellar. That "bottle" that will please both friends and ourselves (and without taking out a 10-year loan)! I'm lucky enough to have a few bottles in my cellar from Domaine Droin has Chablis A benchmark. There's nothing like uncorking this to treat yourself. Chablis Premier cru 2021. It opens with notes of ripe citrus, enormous volume on the palate, and a lingering orange peel finish with a touch of salinity, the hallmark of the domaine ...which leaves a long, savory finish... The first glass inevitably leads to a second! And that's how you recognize a successful wine: that desire to pour another glass, and to share it with friends too...
Located in Chablis , THE domaine Droin farms 28 hectares, of the appellation Little- Chablis to the finest wines. Chablis remains a appellation where favorites abound, regardless of the level of appellation …
